Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting women through the profound transitions that define our lives--young adults transitioning to college, the transition to motherhood, navigating relationship changes, managing work/life balance, and the challenges of navigating perimenopause just to name a few. I also bring over 25 years of experience as a school based counselor to my work supporting teens with navigating academic and personal pressures that come with growing up. My training includes a Master's degree from Seattle Pacific University and full licensure in Washington State as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

My approach to therapy

I believe that each individual has the inner wisdom to work through life's challenges and that I serve as a guide to help you find the way. My work draws from cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Attachment theory, motivational interviewing and solution focused modalities. I do not believe in one cookie cutter approach to healing and try to meet each client's unique needs with my support.

What you can expect from me

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, heard and supported. I bring a warm and relaxed approach to every session so you can feel completely at ease. In our initial meeting, we focus on getting to know one another. I'll share a bit about my approach, then dive into your unique background and what brought you in. I provide the structure and guidance for the conversation, but you set the pace and direction. Together we'll establish your personalized goals and define the concrete outcomes you want to achieve.
