Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Kasandra, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges with compassion, understanding, and evidence-based care.

I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to be heard, understood, and empowered to grow. Whether you're experiencing anxiety, trauma, stress, life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by everyday challenges, I am here to support you on your journey toward healing and personal growth.

With 10 years of clinical experience, I work with adolescents, adults, and families using a collaborative, client-centered approach tailored to each person's unique needs and goals. My professional background includes experience in the mental health, forensic, and medical fields, allowing me to support individuals and families through a wide range of complex life transitions. I have worked with individuals involved in the criminal justice system, including those participating in mandated treatment, while also helping clients and their loved ones navigate the emotional challenges associated with medical diagnoses, chronic illness, caregiving, recovery, and other health-related life changes. These experiences have strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are, provide compassionate support, and guide them through difficult circumstances with dignity, empathy, and practical strategies for growth.

I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel respected, validated, and actively involved in their treatment. Together, we will identify your strengths, develop effective coping skills, and build the resilience needed to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence and clarity.

Seeking therapy is a courageous step, and I am honored to be part of that journey. My goal is to empower you to recognize your inner strengths, overcome obstacles, and create a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a personalized, strengths-based approach to therapy, recognizing that every client's experiences, goals, and needs are unique. I believe in creating a collaborative and supportive environment where clients feel empowered, validated, and encouraged throughout their healing journey.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective, addressing the connection between mental, emotional, and overall well-being. Depending on each client's needs, I incorporate techniques such as mindfulness, breathing exercises, grounding strategies, and other practical coping skills to promote resilience and lasting change. My goal is to help clients build on their strengths, develop effective tools for managing life's challenges, and foster greater confidence and self-awareness.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to empower clients to recognize their inner strengths and build the confidence to lead happy, healthy, and fulfilling lives. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and resilience, and I strive to help clients uncover the tools and strengths they already possess.

I am committed to providing a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. Together, we will foster healing, encourage self-discovery, and promote lasting personal growth and empowerment.
