Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience providing therapy in private practice, residential treatment, school-based programs, and community mental health settings. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, behavioral concerns, family conflict, communication difficulties, grief, or major life transitions. I am especially passionate about helping young people and families strengthen their relationships, understand emotional and behavioral patterns, and develop healthier ways of coping. My goal is to create a supportive, respectful space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized to each client’s needs. I use evidence-based techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based practice. I help clients identify the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and environmental factors contributing to their current challenges. Together, we develop practical coping skills, improve communication, strengthen emotional regulation, and establish realistic goals. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and useful strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, confidential, and judgment-free environment. We will discuss what brought you to therapy, the concerns you would like to address, your personal strengths, and what you hope to accomplish through treatment. I will also ask questions about your background, relationships, current stressors, and any symptoms affecting your daily functioning. Together, we will begin identifying treatment goals and developing a plan that feels comfortable, manageable, and meaningful to you. There is no pressure to share everything immediately; the first session is also an opportunity for us to begin building trust and determine whether I am the right therapist for your needs.
