Great to meet you!

You may be wondering how a therapist could possibly understand you and help with your goals or challenges. While I have professional qualifications, clinical expertise, and over ten years providing therapy, only you are the expert in you. Therapy is a collaborative process, where I can act as a guide and help you sort through your life experiences, feelings, behaviors, relational patterns, and more to better understand yourself. With clearer understanding, you will have the opportunity to start making more intentional choices in your life to improve your wellbeing, whatever that might look like for you.

My approach to therapy

I am committed to providing a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space to allow for this process to occur. I practice from a trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and social justice-oriented lens. While therapy involves examining your particular way of engaging with the world, this must be done in the context of your unique positioning within society.

What you can expect from me

The biggest predictor of positive outcome from therapy is the quality of the therapeutic relationship. It is incredibly important to trust your therapist so you can bring in your full self, including all of the “messy” parts that we often work hard to hide from others. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to start assessing our fit.

Throughout our sessions, we will work both on deepening your understanding of yourself while developing new skills and habits that will better serve you and improve your quality of life.
