Kassandra Mccune

I am a real human being, not a cold "expert" poised on the other end the virtual space. I work hard on my own healing every day, so that I can hold space for those that I work with professionally. I am genuine, honest, and I truly enjoy this work.

I've worked as a therapist in multiple environments and levels of care since 2006 to develop my specialty in treating long term trauma. I am clinically licensed in Florida, Virginia, Utah, Massachusetts, and Georgia.

My approach to working with clients is casual, connected, and geared towards getting to the root of the pain. I encourage clients to set aside a regular, weekly time for therapy to create a routine of showing up for themselves. I strive to create an environment of emotional safety, where clients can feel supported while they explore themes and events that create intense emotion. My treatment methods are holistic, evidence-based, and effective.

Clients that work with me can expect to experience insight into areas of their own life that has previously felt foggy, develop active coping strategies to start to address their underlying trauma, and even learn to love themselves again.
