Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual Licensed Psychologist who provides therapy in both English and Spanish. I believe that starting therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that experience feel welcoming, safe, and supportive from the very beginning. I offer a warm, compassionate, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and the feeling of being overwhelmed or stuck. I value your unique background, culture, beliefs, and personal experiences, and I believe therapy should be tailored to who you are and what you need. For clients whose Christian faith is an important part of their lives, I am open to thoughtfully incorporating faith and spirituality into therapy when you choose to do so. My hope is to help you better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, develop practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and move toward the meaningful changes you want to make.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized to your unique needs and goals. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), while adapting our work to your personal circumstances, experiences, and strengths. Together, we will explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and life experiences, while identifying patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical tools that you can apply in your everyday life. When faith is meaningful to you, I am also open to exploring how your Christian beliefs, values, and spirituality may support your healing, personal growth, and overall well-being. I will always respect your beliefs and worldview and will never impose a particular belief system on you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. I will ask about your current concerns, personal history, strengths, and goals, while giving you space to share what feels most important to you. Together, we will begin identifying priorities for therapy and developing a personalized direction for our work. You can expect a welcoming, respectful, and judgment-free environment where you can be open and honest at your own pace. If faith is meaningful to you, you are welcome to share that part of your life and discuss whether you would like it incorporated into our work. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first session—we can simply start where you are and take the next steps together.
