Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I am deeply committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges with clarity, resilience, and confidence. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, bringing a depth of knowledge, strong clinical skills, and genuine compassion to my work with clients.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University in 2015 and completed my Master’s Degree in Counseling at Edinboro University in 2020. During my graduate training, I worked full-time as a school-based therapist, where I developed specialized experience supporting children and adolescents coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions.

My graduate-level internship at Juniata College further strengthened my clinical skills with college-aged individuals, helping them manage academic pressure, identity development, relationships, and emotional wellbeing.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is grounded in person-centered and strengths-based principles. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which clients are the experts in their own lives, while I provide guidance, structure, and clinical insight along the way.

I integrate mindfulness practices with evidence-informed therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs, goals, and experiences. My work is trauma-informed, developmentally sensitive, and focused on helping clients build awareness, emotional regulation, and meaningful change.

I believe that every individual possesses inherent strengths and resilience. Through therapy, I help clients identify these strengths, clarify their needs, and develop practical tools to foster personal growth, improved relationships, and lasting emotional wellbeing.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is designed to feel safe, supportive, and welcoming. I will begin by getting to know you, your concerns, and what has led you to seek therapy at this time. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental conversation that moves at a comfortable pace.

During this initial meeting, I will ask questions about your background, current stressors, strengths, and goals for treatment. Together, we will begin to clarify what you hope to achieve in therapy and discuss how best to structure future sessions.

Clients often leave their first session feeling heard, understood, and more hopeful about their next steps. My top priority is ensuring that you feel respected, supported, and empowered from the very beginning of your therapeutic journey.
