Great to meet you!

I consider myself to be a relational therapist whose most interested in gaining your trust and offering you a safe space to explore the most intimate parts of yourself. I am also attuned to how our environment shapes our identities as well as how our world deeply affects who we are and how we live.

My approach to therapy

My practice is trauma informed and ACT oriented. I will generously dole out validation so that you feel grounded in the reality that is your life. Once we have accepted what is, we can take it from there and consider the infinite possibilities there are for your recovery. I will move at your pace but will also gently challenge your defenses. We need both things to happen if we want to heal and make change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to reflect each week on naturally emerging questions that challenge them to move toward a deeper understanding of self. They can also expect to learn that all of the parts of them are important and that we can make meaning out of seemingly senseless or difficult experiences. My hope and wish is to assist clients in making meaning out of hardship that allows for recovery from trauma and to move out of what keeps them despairing and stuck.
