Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Psychologist with a Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and 10 years of therapy experience. I’ve worked in several settings and helped clients through a variety of concerns, including: life transitions, stress, anxiety, depression, grief, identity/LGBTQ concerns, and relationship issues. I also have a particular interest in and experience with: perfectionism, highly sensitive people, and narcissistic abuse.

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach and tailor services to meet each client’s needs.

For individuals, I try to balance empathy and support with gentle challenging, problem solving, self-care, and exploration of relationship patterns.

For couples, I use The Gottman Method to strengthen a couples' friendship and intimacy, improve conflict management, and create shared meaning. I also use Emotion Focused Therapy to improve communication by uncovering and expressing underlying emotions and needs.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you hope for from the experience, and answer any questions you have. I like to get a sense of what your life looks like as a whole, things like: work, school, family, friends, and romantic relationships. Toward the end of the session, we’ll talk about ways we might start addressing your concerns. After the first couple sessions, I generally start with whatever is on your mind for that day or week.
