Great to meet you!

I received my MSW and Certificate in Aging Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, and I have provided community-based mental health services to individuals in central Virginia for nearly 25 years. I have worked extensively with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and stressful life transitions. I have a particular interest in working with clients with sensory losses such as smell, taste, vision, and hearing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a collaborative, holistic approach to therapy and enjoy working closely with clients towards positive change. I believe each individual is the author of their own story with the capacity to transform and grow at any stage of life. My role is to provide support and guidance in an environment free of judgment.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to be listened to and heard when they share their life situations, challenges, and aspirations for the future. I have experience in helping clients address the anxiety, depression, and isolation that often come with the aging process as well as with sensory losses.
