Great to meet you!

I've been passionate about mental health since age 12, when I bought my first Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). I earned a BS in Psychology from Oregon State University and worked in psychiatric residential centers for children and psychiatric transitional homes for adults throughout my degree. I went on to obtain a nursing degree from Duke University and volunteered in juvenile detention centers throughout my time there. I then spent ten years working as a staff and travel nurse in some of the country’s leading hospitals, where my experience in fields like Neurology, Trauma, Cardiology, and the ICU have helped me become a well-rounded and holistic psychiatric provider. In 2022, I earned my doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Pacific Lutheran University and spent time volunteering for the crisis text line while completing my degree. To this day, I remain dedicated to providing quality mental health care and am grateful to work in a field I truly love.

My approach to therapy

I provide compassionate, patient-centered care for patients with mental health challenges like mood disorders, ADHD, bipolar disorder, or complex conditions like PTSD, psychosis, or substance use. I work hard to listen, validate, and collaborate with patients to create a treatment plan that aligns with their goals.

What you can expect from me

I prioritize creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel secure to share their experiences and find relief from their symptoms. My approach is rooted in fostering a stigma-free space that empowers individuals, enhances coping skills, and restores a sense of control over their lives. Central to my practice is the commitment to truly listen and collaborate with patients. Together, we develop personalized treatment plans and set achievable, measurable goals that pave the way toward a happier, more positive life.
