Great to meet you!

I am a passionate individual that is loyal, reliable and dedicated to making a positive difference in every client’s life that I am given the opportunity and privilege to collaborate with.

I have the gift of empathy and the natural ability to connect with others.

Individuals often comment on the level of comfort I provide that allow him or her to feel safe in opening up and exposing his or her vulnerabilities and struggles in life.

My skill set is as diverse as the client populations I have had the pleasure of working with and my cultural competency was strengthened through my international experience.

I enjoy learning and continuously work on expanding my knowledge base; growing as an individual and as a clinician, for the more I know allows me to better assist, educate and advocate for the individuals I serve.

My approach to therapy

I utilize a strengths based, client centered approach to therapy.

In this therapeutic approach instead of focusing on deficits or diagnoses, it shifts the dynamic to empower clients, using their innate resilience, skills, and personal assets to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

I have experience working with individuals of all ages, from as young as age 3 to 85 plus.

I frequently work with individuals from within the neurodivergent community and it works well since I am neurodivergent myself.

I always start therapy services with someone for individual therapy but I do have experience working with families and couples as well.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, welcoming, non-judgmental environment. I provide a safe space for individuals to open up and allow themselves to be vulnerable.

The first session serves as a collaborative planning meeting where we build rapport, clarify your immediate concerns, and map out a tailored roadmap for your well-being. You set the pace—there is no pressure to share everything right away.

The First Session Experience

  • Introductions & Logistics: We will briefly cover the foundations of therapy, including confidentiality and office policies, to ensure you feel secure and comfortable.
  • Understanding Your "Why": We will explore what brings you in today and how these challenges impact your daily life.
  • Background Gathering: Expect gentle questions about your personal history, relationships, and any previous experiences with counseling.
  • Q&A: You will have ample time to ask me questions about my clinical background, approach, or how to navigate therapy.

Typical Goals & Outcomes

  • Define Your Goals: We establish clear, actionable, and personalized objectives, such as building stress-management tools, processing grief, or improving relationship dynamics.
  • Assess Fit: The goal is to determine if we are the right match to work together toward your desired outcomes.
  • Outline Next Steps: We will agree on a preliminary treatment plan and discuss the recommended frequency of future sessions.
