Great to meet you!

I have been in practice since 2005 and have been an LCSW since 2007. Originally from Maine and now residing full-time in Colorado, I have focused on determining what each client brings to the session and developing a personalized treatment approach for each person presenting for treatment. I believe that the therapeutic space is sacred and consider it an honor to be invited into these spaces. As such, it is my goal to help each client feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged to find what is needed to live their best life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy and life has been to bring a sense of humor to what would otherwise be a dark time. That said, I am direct in my approach and often use a Socratic approach to understand what is needed to get to where one wishes to go within the therapeutic space. I will be honest, direct, and while sensitivity is important, I believe it is not in our best interest to waste any time.

What you can expect from me

We will identify the strengths you bring with you, identify the ways in which I may be able to assist you in getting where you wish to go, and determine what strengths we have to work with going forward.
