Great to meet you!

Welcome! I look forward to hearing about you. What is it like to be you? Where would you like be in your relationships, work or other goals? I am endlessly curious about the way you make decisions and move through your world.

I am a mother of 3 kids, 2 dogs and 1 cat. In my free time, I love to travel and experience the way others live; how they solve problems, what matters and motivates. I love to experience the universal healing power of connections between partners, parent and child, and families.

Education

I have a B.A. in Intercultural Studies from Biola University. I completed an MSW from Azusa Pacific University. I have years of experience working with at-risk youth in CA and WA as well as in NGO's. I started my practice in 2019. I am trained in EFT, CBT, DBT and Gottman.

My approach to therapy

Therapeutic Approach

My overall framework for therapy is a family systems approach. Using this approach, we will explore your interactions with the people in your life: your family, your school or work, and your community through an attachment lens. I believe in an eclectic approach to counseling, utilizing interventions that fit the person with an awareness of trauma histories, attachment and systemic and environmental factors; rather, the whole person.

What you can expect from me

I believe that the emotions are powerful motivating forces that are best explored in safe relationships and can help develop a greater sense of self. Since therapy began, new approaches are regularly developed and studied. I receive on-going training each year in order to add new dimensions to my clinical practice. We will develop goals together and work together to make progress toward living the life and being the person you want to be.

Treatment is a joint effort. Progress depends on one’s willingness to participate and apply new concepts. We will work together to find what approaches work best for you.
