Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Kate Langheld, a Licensed Professional Cousnelor with over 7 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. I earned my Master's degree in mental health counseling and am passionate about providing a supportive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, grief, behavioral difficulties and trauma. My goals is to help young people develop healthy coping skills, build resilience, and gain confidence as they work through life's challenges. I believe every child and teen has unique strengths, and I strive to tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs.

What you can expect from me

My goal during our first session is to create a welcoming, supportive and judgement-free environment where you or your child can feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I take a person-centered approach, recognizing that every individual is unique and deserves care tailored to their specific needs. During our initial meetings, we'll spend time getting to know one another, building rapport, and discussing the concerns that brought you to counseling. Together, we'll identify treatment goals and develop a plan that aligns with your strengths, values, and hopes for therapy.
