I prefer an eclectic approach, co-created by myself and the client based on their needs, preferences and processing style. I am experienced with a wide range of people, challenges and circumstances: Anxiety and Depression, Life Transitions, Relational Challenges, Childhood Abuse. I have worked with general and special populations including sexual abuse survivors, teens, military, corrections.
I strive to listen deeply and understand your experience. I believe that the client has their own answers, resources and medicine. I consider myself an ally and a guide to my clients. Together we discover outdated or unconscious thoughts, beliefs or events that result in stuck energy, manifesting as mood disorders, relational conflicts and self-sabotaging behaviors.
I offer elements of CBT, Parts Work, Psychodynamic and Systemic Therapies, Energy and Somatic Awareness, and Trauma Specific Therapies (including EMDR).
In our first session, we will explore some of the challenges and conditions you currently experience, any relevant medical, psychiatric, psychosocial, and historical details that would be comfortable for you to reveal and relevant for me to know.
