Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker and addiction specialist with experience in both acute and community mental health settings, including New York Presbyterian, Northwell Health, and Bellevue Hospital. I attended Sarah Lawrence College (BA), Maryland Institute College of Art (MFA), and Silberman School of Social Work, Hunter CUNY (MSW).

My approach to therapy

I work from a trauma informed, patient centered orientation with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and major life transitions. I specialize in ego-supportive psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). My approach integrates practical tools for immediate support with deeper exploration of patterns, relationships, and lived experience. I believe therapy should be both stabilizing and transformative, helping you build coping strategies while also moving toward greater clarity, agency, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a space that feels collaborative, safe, and attuned. I believe therapy should be both stabilizing and transformative, helping you build coping strategies while also moving toward greater clarity, agency, and meaningful change. The initial session focuses on information sharing and determining if I'm a good fit for your therapeutic needs.
