Great to meet you!

I have worked with people from birth through death facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship strain and life transitions. The consistent themes in my work are emotional regulation, healthy coping strategies, and addressing trauma responses. With my background in family systems, Gestalt and Narrative Therapy, I strive to assist individuals to explore their relationships and experiences to create narratives that support healthy growth. Through my experiences at Temple University and The Catholic University of America I was shown the beauty of human beings as complex multifaceted entities: biological, emotional, cognitive, spiritual and communal. I work with clients to find their strengths in each realm, using that knowledge to help them build new more holistic narratives.

My approach to therapy

Even in the darkest of times, everyone is doing their best. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. By helping you recognize the healthy efforts you are already making it can be easier for us to find ways to redirect that energy. My first priority is safety with a strengths-based focus on healthy coping and working to build a kind inner voice, before addressing previous trauma.

What you can expect from me

My goal for our first session it for you to feel empowered in your treatment. I take a brief history, focusing most on your current experience and what brings us together. We will also begin the journey of exploring what coping strategies work best for you and align most with your goals.
