Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can show up as you are, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I take a warm, supportive, and down-to-earth approach and work to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what’s really going on.

I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, grief, caregiver stress, ADHD and executive functioning challenges, women’s health concerns, and the emotional impact of chronic or serious illness. I have a particular passion for supporting women through motherhood, postpartum changes, menopause, body image concerns, and the many shifts that can come with different stages of life.

My goal is for you to feel genuinely heard and supported while also leaving therapy with greater insight, practical tools, and a clearer sense of how to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I don’t believe therapy should look exactly the same for everyone, so I tailor our work to your personality, needs, and goals.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, mindfulness, somatic strategies, and solution-focused techniques. Together, we may work on understanding patterns, quieting anxious or ruminating thoughts, regulating emotions, strengthening boundaries, improving communication, or finding more manageable ways to cope with stress and change.

I also believe insight is most helpful when you can use it in your everyday life. We’ll make space to process what you’re going through, but I’ll also help you identify concrete tools and small, realistic changes that can help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected to yourself.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what feels most important right now, and what you’re hoping to get out of our time together.

There’s no pressure to share everything at once or have the “right” words. I’ll ask questions to help guide the conversation, but we’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you. We’ll also begin identifying goals and talk about what might be most helpful moving forward.

Most importantly, I want you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and like you have a clearer sense of what our work together can look like.
