Great to meet you!

The clients I work with in therapy feel seen and heard during our time together. They know I value the time we schedule, and appreciate my consistent, warm, and compassionate presence. The therapeutic relationship and collaborative approach supports the work you are coming into therapy to do. When client's feel ready to dig into the healing work, and we engage together in the process, growth and healing happens and clients report feeling better. I treat trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, adjustments, grief, loss, and concerns with identity, self worth, and relationship. The strategies, skills, and modalities used are individualized for each client.

My approach to therapy

We use talk therapy, and within that I am supported by and integrate various evidence-based and effective treatment approaches. I draw from the wisdom of mindfulness, somatic, body-informed practices, art informed processes, cognitive theories. My work is trauma and grief informed.

What you can expect from me

The first session is offering you a safe and supportive time to be genuinely heard and listened to. I want to understand what it is that is bringing you to therapy and what you'd like to see different. I'll ask more questions than usual in the first session. We might include a short assessment, in addition to the intake paperwork I will ask you to complete before we meet for the first session. The more information you feel open to sharing, the more we get to be on the same page, and then we move further on your therapy journey together.
