Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kate I am a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor dedicated to the belief that healing and joy are not just possible, but attainable for all. With a background in both education (BA, MA) and clinical counseling (MA, Liberty University), I offer a unique, holistic perspective for patients of all ages.

I specialize in helping individuals navigate the complexities of trauma, utilizing evidence-based frameworks such as EDMR, while meeting a variety of other diagnostic needs including, but not limited to, narcissitic abuse, managing symptoms of ADHD, depression, anxiety, relational conflict, and postpartum care, using other evidence based frameworks such as CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy. My approach is integrative, and can incorporate faith-based counseling and motivational interviewing strategies in order to meet clients’ needs. In 2022 I moved from WI to CO and am proud to serve both the Colorado and Wisconsin community. In my off time I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my golden Charlie and my family.

My approach to therapy

I use a client centered approach, making sure to nurture the therapeutic bond in order to secure trust and have you get the most out of your experience.

What you can expect from me

I build my understanding of you! The direction you want to grow & best hopes for therapy and your background information including past therapy, current mental health state, physical health, and any other historical information you think would be helpful for me to know. We then work together to set goals and create a treatment plan that will guide us similar to a road map. Therapy is flexible, so I allow sessions to flow and guide sessions based on goals and present need.
