Great to meet you!

Since 1998 I have worked in various settings including private practice, non-profit agencies, and schools. I offer long-term and short-term psychotherapy for adults. I see people in my office, by video, or by phone.

Education

  • Ph.D. Mythological Studies with emphasis in Depth Psychology, Pacifica Graduate Institute, Carpinteria, CA, 2017
  • M.A. Counseling Psychology, California Institute of Integral Studies, San Francisco, 2000
  • B.A. Political Science, University of California at Berkeley, 1982

My approach to therapy

I blend depth-oriented interventions (working with the unconscious), cognitive therapy, and EMDR (Eye Movement, Desensitization and Reprocessing) to treat individuals who have lost the ability to function fully in their lives as a result of grief, loss, trauma, life-threatening illness, personality disorders, substance abuse or relationship difficulties.

My specialized training includes: treating intergenerational trauma, Interactive Guided Imagery, visual journaling (Certified SoulPagesTM Facilitator), integrative wellness coaching (Certified Mental Health & Nutrition Clinical Specialist).
