Great to meet you!

I am so glad you're here! I am Kati and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and couples seeking support in navigating through life's challenging moments. Whether you are struggling to cope with depression, fight against anxiety, facing difficult life transitions, or hoping to improve your relationships, my goal is to serve as a bridge of support as you face your challenges.

My approach to therapy

I use a client-centered approach in therapy and engage with my clients with warmth and sincerity. My therapeutic style is nonjudgmental, inquisitive, and interpretive. My background is in child and adolescent mental health, working particularly with those who have anxiety and adjustment disorders. Through this work I developed a passion not only for supporting the children through these challenges but also for offering support and encouragement to the parents and greater family system who are facing challenges in their own right.

What you can expect from me

Did you know that the most important factor in predicting successful outcomes in therapy is the therapeutic relationship between client and therapist? Positive rapport, trust, and comfortability are key to finding the right therapist for you. In our first session, you can expect me to ask you lots of questions so I can get to know you, what brought you to therapy, and how I can help you establish and meet your goals. As always, my aim is to support and encourage you as you navigate through this season of life.
