Great to meet you!

My name is Katelyn Baruth, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) providing talk therapy to individuals seeking support, clarity, and meaningful change. I earned my Master of Social Work in 2019 and have worked across a range of settings including homeless services, PACE programming, hospice care, and geriatric social work. My background has given me extensive experience supporting individuals through life transitions, medical challenges, grief and loss, and complex social stressors.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to therapy, creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported at their own pace.I draw from evidence-based practices to help clients build insight, develop coping strategies, and improve overall well-being. Whether you are navigating anxiety, adjustment to change, or simply need a space to process, my goal is to provide practical support while fostering resilience and long-term growth.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and talking about what’s bringing you in, at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and we’ll begin exploring what support might look like moving forward. Most importantly, this is a judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
