Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with six years of clinical experience and five years as a middle school counselor. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Counseling from East Stroudsburg University and my Master’s in Education in Mental Health and School Counseling from William Paterson University.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Counseling to create warm, conversational sessions that both support and challenge clients. I have experience working with clients of all ages with a range of presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, relationship issues, and more. Additionally, my background in education allows me to effectively work with adolescents navigating social, emotional, and academic stressors.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, scuba diving, kayaking, and being outdoors.

If you don't see the availability you are looking for, this can be discussed during our 15 minute consultation call. I am willing to work with you!

My approach to therapy

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Counseling.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive and low-pressure environment where we begin getting to know one another. I understand that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so I aim to create a space that feels comfortable, conversational, and welcoming.

We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy and gaining a clearer understanding of your current challenges. I’ll also ask about important areas of your life, including relationships with family, friends, or partners, as well as your strengths, areas you’d like to grow in, and the goals you have for your therapeutic journey.

My goal in the first session is not to overwhelm you, but to begin building a strong foundation and rapport. Together, we’ll start identifying what you hope to gain from therapy and outline a path forward that feels manageable and meaningful.
