Great to meet you!

As a licensed professional counselor and psychotherapist, I believe we are more than our diagnoses, coping patterns, hardest seasons, or the systems and circumstances that have shaped us. Therapy should help you understand your life in context without allowing that context to become your identity or your limit. My clinical experience has centered trauma, recovery, and major life change, including supporting adults as they rebuild after significant disruption. I’m especially passionate about working with adults who are used to being the one others rely on and are ready to make more room for who they are and what they want beyond the roles and expectations they carry.

My approach to therapy

Depending on what brings you in, our work may focus on helping you feel more grounded, understand recurring patterns, reconnect with yourself, and make choices that feel more aligned with the life you want. Together, we explore what may be shaping those patterns, what your mind and body are communicating, and what feels important to understand, process, or change. I take a whole-person approach, so we consider both your inner world and the real-life factors that affect your ability to heal. I use trauma-informed and body-aware strategies when helpful, and I will support you in making sense of what we discover and turning insight into meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about understanding what is happening in your life now, what brought you to therapy at this point, and what you hope could feel different. You do not need to arrive with your story perfectly organized or a polished list of goals; we will make sense of that together while considering the broader context of your life. You can expect me to listen closely, ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, and create a space where you do not have to hold everything together. We will move at a pace that respects trust and readiness while building a clear direction for our work and a shared understanding of what meaningful progress looks like for you.
