Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Katelyn, a licensed social worker with over five years of experience. I earned my undergraduate degree from Le Moyne College, where I was an active member of the swimming and diving team. I then pursued a Master’s in Social Work at Binghamton University.

My career has included working in various settings such as foster care agencies, schools, and hospitals. Along side my private practice, I provide therapy in a school base setting to elementary students. Throughout my career, I have specialized in providing one-on-one and virtual counseling to both teens and adults. I have expanded my current practice to working with couples and group / family sessions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is characterized by a strength-based, interactive, and calm style. I create a friendly, non-judgmental and safe environment where clients can freely explore their thoughts and emotions. By fostering a trusting relationship, I tailor the therapeutic process to meet each client's unique needs. I aim to utilize mindfulness, CBT and traditional talk therapy in the sessions.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to leave feeling empowered, relaxed, and validated. They can anticipate a sense of understanding and appreciation as they navigate and explore challenging emotions. I provide a range of coping skills to support their mental health needs and help them effectively manage their experiences.
