Great to meet you!

I have always been an observer, a feeler, and a thinker. I was seventeen years old when I decided to channel my personality and my strengths into becoming a trained therapist. My path never changed its course! I feel lucky in that regard.

With my Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology from Arizona State University and my Master's degree in Marriage & Family Therapy from Lipscomb University, I approach my clients’ concerns through a relational and holistic lens. I am listening for how the client’s closest relationships are doing. I am curious about how their body holds their emotions, how their emotions treat their body, what the client’s logic thinks about all of this...you get the idea. It’s all connected, and I am always fascinated by the holistic dance of my client’s experience.

As an advocate for self-care, I practice taking care of myself through at least one slow, cozy morning a week. I spend time with friends who make me belly-laugh. I practice nourishing yoga every single day. I snuggle and play with my pets. I exercise self-discipline as a form of empathy toward my future self - she always needs structure that my present self has to create for her!

My approach to therapy

I use an integrative approach to therapy, combining elements of Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and EMDR to use research-based practices in our work together.

What you can expect from me

My goal with every session is that my client is left with helpful insight, at least one action item for "homework", and a renewed sense of hope for the future.
