Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Katelyn McDonagh, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a CASAC currently practicing in New York. I graduated from NYU and have been working in the Social Work field since 2009. My experience includes working with adults, adolescents and families who have struggled with various mental health issues, substance use disorders, life stressors and low self-esteem. It would be my pleasure to assist you in taking steps, big or small, towards living a more satisfying life.

My approach to therapy

My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe that you are the expert on your life experience. As we build a therapeutic relationship we will work together to address what brought you here and identify the steps you need to take towards your goals.

What you can expect from me

You made a big decision by coming here! For our first session you can expect warmth, empathy and understanding while we get to know who you are and explore what led you here. Identifying your goals is the first step in moving towards change.

*Currently only meeting via telehealth
