I am a LPCC with 10 years experience in community mental health, school based services, and private practice. I have a passion for mental health and enjoy helping people grow and find their own potential. I have an Ed.S in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & enjoy working with children, teens, and adults. I find my specialty is in trauma and am trained in TF-CBT for children and EMDR.
I feel that building trust and connection with client's is super important to helping them be open to the therapy process. While I like to be warm and open, I am also challenging and empowering. Growth can be uncomfortable but client's don't have to go at it alone.
At your first session, you can expect a friendly smile and someone to listen to what it is you want to achieve. After gathering history about you, we then decide together what goals I can help with and what route is best for you.
