Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Katelyn. I’m a solution-focused therapist who specializes in mental health and addiction, and I’m an LGBTQ+ affirming provider who welcomes people of all identities and backgrounds. I work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, and the strain these challenges can place on relationships, self-esteem, and daily life. I draw from solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) to help you build practical skills, shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward a life that feels more aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

Clients often describe me as grounded, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I’m deeply committed to creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and respected exactly as you are—especially if you’ve felt misunderstood or dismissed in other settings. I’ll work alongside you, not above you, using evidence based tools while staying attentive to your lived experience, identity, and preferences. I believe real change is possible, and I’ll be honest and supportive as we navigate both the hard moments and the wins. My goal is for you to feel more empowered, more connected to yourself, and better equipped to handle whatever life brings.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting clear on what’s bringing you to therapy right now and what you hope will feel different. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and you can ask any questions you have about how I work. I’ll ask about your history, current stressors, and supports so I can understand the bigger picture, and together we’ll start identifying a few initial goals that feel realistic and meaningful to you. My aim is for you to leave that first session feeling heard, less alone, and with a sense that there’s a concrete next step forward.
