Great to meet you!

I am a mental health therapist with a Master’s in Social Work from Saint Leo University (2021), specializing in trauma-focused approaches and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work with both adults and children facing a range of challenges, including domestic violence, trauma, substance use, and various mental health conditions. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space to help clients heal, build resilience, and develop effective coping strategies.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and a laid-back, supportive presence. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I believe in meeting people where they are, empowering them to explore their experiences at their own pace while building on their strengths. Through a collaborative and compassionate process, I aim to support clients in finding clarity, healing, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During the first therapy session, my focus is on getting to know you and building a strong, supportive connection. We’ll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, your background, and any current challenges you're facing. I’ll also complete an initial assessment to better understand your needs and guide our work together. By the end of the session, we’ll begin setting personalized treatment goals to focus on in future sessions, ensuring that our work is tailored to support your growth and healing.
