Great to meet you!

I love helping people identify and move towards healing and goals, and value connection, empathy, genuineness, and warmth when working with clients. I have worked with clients overcoming traumas, navigating life changes and high-stress situations, receiving treatment for substance use disorders, and others just seeking ways to improve their well-being. I am currently pursuing my PhD in Sports and Performance Psychology, working to help athletes, artists, and others improve their mental performance while addressing mental health concerns.

My approach to therapy

I approach issues from a holistic and trauma-informed lens, utilizing a variety of tools. Yet, I remain grounded in Individual Psychology and the theoretical framework developed by Alfred Adler. I believe we are shaped by many things, including our families, our past, and our current environment, and I work to help clients navigate all of these together in an effort to improve their future.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will spend time discussing what brings you into counseling and identifying goals. I believe strongly in the client-counselor relationship and will take the time to get to know you and the strengths you have to help you meet the goals you identify. We will review the counseling process and address any concerns or hopes you may have.
