Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm a therapist that works with adults through times of stress and change. This may include a big move, the end of a relationship, or the perinatal period (including preconception, infertility and loss). During major life events, we can all experience a wide range of emotions from joy to grief to overwhelm. You don't have to navigate these things alone.

I also have a passion for supporting parents and specialized experience in supporting caregivers with medically complex children.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to blend a warm and affirming style with offering concrete skills for clients to use in daily life. I'm collaborative and client-centered.

I have completed advanced certification in trauma-informed therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Perinatal Mental Health.

I'm a member of Postpartum Support International, the National Board of Certified Counselors, and the Climate Psychology Alliance.

What you can expect from our first session

Together, we will examine your values, your goals, and what brought you here. Sessions typically "start big, end specific". At the beginning of our time, you might not know where to start. I'm here to offer structure, help you identify patterns, and introduce skills that take you somewhere new. In our sessions, we will identify what's most important for you that day, take time to process what's been going on, and wrap up with some practical techniques to adress a specific need.
