Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed School Counselor, with ten years of experience in the counseling field.

My goal is to create a nurturing, space where clients can grow and overcome challenges. I view therapy as a collaborative journey. Together, we uncover inner strengths, build tools for everyday stressors, and acquire a sense of agency. Every individual is unique, and I am continuously inspired by what I learn from them as we work toward growth.

Outside the counseling office, I am a mom to three teenage girls. I recharge through creative outlets like painting portraits, writing stories, and experimenting with new recipes. I stay grounded through running, hiking, and yoga.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I use a blended approach to therapy that honors the complexity of who you are. I believe we all carry a variety of "parts" within ourselves—each with its own history and way of navigating the world.

Sometimes, certain parts can become overwhelming or over-manage our lives in an effort to protect us. When this happens, it can create barriers in our relationships and make daily life feel like a struggle.

My goal is to provide a compassionate, safe space where we can gently explore these parts and the memories or situations that shaped them. By understanding your inner system, we can heal old patterns and create meaningful, new ways for you to cope, connect, and truly thrive.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is called an intake session. It is mostly a collaborative conversation to get to know you. We will review your paperwork and discuss what brings you to therapy right now. We will look at your background, your history, and what has worked or failed in the past. Finally, we will outline your goals for our time together. You do not need to prepare anything. Just bring an open mind and any questions you have for me.
