Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for helping people navigate life’s challenges and build meaningful, lasting change. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and completed my Master of Social Work at New York University.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with individuals across a wide range of populations and levels of care, including inpatient, residential, PHP/IOP, and outpatient settings. This experience has given me a comprehensive understanding of mental health treatment and the unique needs of clients at different stages of their healing journey.

I have extensive experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality disorders, and I take a compassionate, individualized approach to therapy. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with practical tools to better understand themselves and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative, compassionate, and individualized approach to therapy. I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment. My style is warm and supportive while also being honest and goal-oriented, helping clients better understand patterns that may be contributing to their struggles and develop practical tools for change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and EMDR, tailoring treatment to each client’s needs and goals. I have particular experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns. I focus on helping clients build emotional regulation and coping skills, strengthen relationships and boundaries, process difficult experiences, and develop a greater sense of self-awareness and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we begin getting to know one another and developing a clear understanding of what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and what you hope to gain from treatment.

I like to establish goals early in the therapeutic process so that our work remains focused and purposeful. Together, we’ll identify specific areas you’d like to work on and develop realistic, meaningful goals that we can revisit as treatment progresses. My goal is for clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for our work together.
