Katherine Barrett

After graduating from NYU in the 80's Katherine went to India to pursue a deeper understanding of the human spirit. She moved to Florida completed an MSW at FAU and became a licensed therapist specializing in addiction, family dysfunction, relationships, unresolved trauma, grief, and loss. She has worked with patients with health anxieties, auto-immune diseases, and complexities of aging, empty nest and failure to launch issues. Katherine trained numerous treatment and mental health centers.

For over 30 years Katherine has been studying holistic systems of relationship integration. Specifically, how one’s heart and mind can work well together to heal relationship issues– whether that relationship is with a parent, spouse, sibling or boss. As an integrative relationship specialist, Katherine is skilled at working with multiple family members in order that they learn how to heal their own wounds and thus heal the relationships with the most significant people in their lives.

Clients can expect Katherine to listen with compassion and caring.She is well versed in a wide range of approaches and techniques and will work with what suits the client for the best outcome! She brings to life each person’s essential strengths so they can edify self-esteem, health, and interpersonal relationships in tangible ways.
