Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Katherine, a clinical social worker and registered dance movement therapist. I love working with clients who seek to carve out a path of hope and newly imagined potential for themselves. Whether that’s moving through a transition, trauma, loss, or just wanting to feel “unstuck”, I accompany my clients through the muddy waters of emotions and life circumstances toward greater clarity and new possibilities.

My approach to therapy

Knowing that each client is unique and is centered in their own unique environmental system, I draw from many frameworks and models of therapy to best address each individual's needs. Most commonly, I practice within the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) model, alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Much of my work includes somatic awareness and movement exploration through my training as a registered dance movement therapist.

What you can expect from me

Attuning to your own well of intuition and finding a sense of direction within your own dreams is what we can work toward together. I often draw from embodied practices to help clients further their own body-mind connection, finding a sense of home in one’s skin and allowing the body to express emotion deeper than words. I have helped many clients through grief, transition, trauma, depression, and everyday anxiety toward more integration and sense of ideal self.
