Great to meet you!

Hello, I am truly glad you are here. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Supervisor with over 13 years of experience, I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, family conflict, grief, and major life transitions.

Together, we'll explore the experiences that shaped your current patterns while building practical tools that support healing, emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and lasting change. My goal is to help you to better understand yourself, strengthen your resilience, and move toward a life that feels more connected, meaningful, and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed while also helping clients identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I understand that emotional struggles often affect the mind, body, relationships, and nervous system, so therapy focuses on supporting healing in a way that feels both practical and sustainable.

My work is rooted in attachment theory, developmental trauma, trauma‐informed care, and interpersonal neurobiology. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and Emotional Freedom Technique (tapping). The Neurosequential Network acknowledges that Katherine Clay has completed NMT Training Certification through the Phase I level. Please reach out for more information regarding the NMT Assessment Process.

Therapy is always tailored to your unique experiences, goals, strengths, and stage of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a supportive and meaningful therapeutic relationship. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope will be different in your life moving forward. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, respected, understood, and comfortable showing up as your authentic self.
