Great to meet you!

My name is Katherine (She/her) and I am an LGBTQ+ affirming provider and a certified clinical trauma professional. I take a holistic approach to therapy to meet my clients where they are.

I have received intensive training in Prolonged Exposure therapy for the treatment of Chronic and Acute PTSD, as well as in Exposure Response Prevention for the treatment of OCD. Both are considered "gold standard" modalities and are intensive therapies designed to get results in weeks rather than years.

My approach to therapy

I use a combination of the following modalities:

  • CBT
  • DBT
  • ICBT
  • EMDR
  • Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE)
  • Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)
  • Trauma-informed treatment

I have been working in the mental health field for 12 years and obtained my MSW from Salisbury University and am licensed in Virginia currently.

I hold certifications in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am intensely trained in EMDR, ICBT, PE, and ERP.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, relaxed, and open environment. My primary goal is to help my clients identify their goals and implement strategies to achieve them. I want my clients to feel open to communicate with me and know that starts with a healthy and respectful rapport. You will not find judgement in my office, so come as you are.
