Great to meet you!

¡Mucho gusto!

I'm Dr. Katherine Isaza, a bilingual licensed psychologist in Florida who works exclusively with adults dealing with high-functioning anxiety. If your life looks impressive from the outside, but internally you’re tired of overthinking, holding it together, working twice as hard, and managing the weight of family pressure and cultural expectations — you're not alone, and you don't have to keep doing that.

I work with high-achieving adults dealing with anxiety who are ready to embrace psychotherapy as a space to be honest — not polished.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, direct but warm, and genuinely personalized — I don't believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I understand how family dynamics, generational expectations, and the weight of being "the strong one" can fuel anxiety, so I’ll draw from evidence-based methods to best support you.

Our sessions will focus on current life circumstances and relationships, rather than early childhood or deep past experiences. I believe that psychological distress is triggered or worsened by current life events and current relationship distress.

What you can expect from me

Before we meet for the first “official” session, I meet with every potential client for a 25-minute virtual “Initial Consultation” to get an idea of why you’re currently looking for therapy. Expect a few questions and be ready with a couple questions of your own! By the end of the consultation, we’ll both get a better sense of whether we’re a good fit and hopefully, you'll choose to move forward if it feels right.
