Great to meet you!

I’ve been working as a therapist since 2006 and have had the privilege of supporting teens and adults through many different stages of life. In addition to clinical work, I’ve spent years as a nonprofit leader working with children, families, and communities, and I have experience in childcare and early learning settings. I also have extensive training in cultural awareness and responsiveness, which helps me approach each client with curiosity and respect. I believe therapy works best when people feel truly seen and understood, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to talk openly about what they’re going through.

My approach to therapy

My approach is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in helping people better understand themselves. Many of the clients I work with are living full lives but feeling stretched thin—raising children, caring for aging parents, navigating career changes, or working through experiences from earlier in life. In therapy, we slow things down and make space to explore what’s happening beneath the surface. Together we look at patterns, process difficult experiences, and develop practical tools that help you feel more grounded and resilient in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on in your life, what brought you to therapy, and what you’re hoping might feel different moving forward. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and you can ask any questions you have about the process. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer sense of how we might work together.
