Great to meet you!
I have been a social worker for more than 24 years and am passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges with compassion, honesty, and practical support. Originally from California's beautiful Napa Valley, I have called Wyoming home for the past five years and currently live in Powell with my husband, family, and a collection of beloved animals.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in a wide variety of settings, including case management, hospice care, federally qualified health centers, large and small hospitals, and clinical therapy. These diverse experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the unique journeys people face and have strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are.
I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University, Chico, with a specialization in Spanish and a minor in Psychology. I later received my Master of Social Work degree from California State University, Sacramento.
Helping people has always been more than a profession for me. It is my calling. I feel honored to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families during some of life's most difficult moments, helping them discover their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change. I utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches because I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Together, we will find the tools and strategies that best fit your unique needs and goals.
My style is warm, genuine, and straightforward. I believe growth happens when kindness and honesty work hand in hand. You can expect a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and challenged when needed. In other words, you won't find any bushes in my office to beat around!
