Great to meet you!

About Me Hi there! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in Missouri, originally from New York. (Shout out to Schenectady!) My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by rich experiences -from living and studying in Switzerland, to doing research in Northern CA- I am always equally amazed and appreciative for the diverse ways we as people live, heal, and connect.

When I'm not in session, you can find me fully embracing spooky season (yes, all year round!). I love all things Halloween—especially the creepy, kooky, campy, and delightfully weird, (iykyk). I live with my majestic husband and our very dramatic cat, Lady Moonerva Lavender Buttons.

In my free time, I’m all about whimsy and creativity. I enjoy crafting, swimming, learning new languages (currently tackling Mandarin!), and embracing my full millennial self, (potential) cringe and all! :) One of my greatest joys is playing Pokémon with my nieces and nephews—even if I lose every time. (Truly, my lackluster attempts at achieving victory are borderline cliche at this point).

Therapy with me is grounded, affirming, and a little magical. You’ll find a space where you can show up exactly as you are—whether you're navigating big life shifts, healing from past wounds, or simply seeking deeper connection with yourself.

My approach to therapy

My Approach: I’m a trauma-focused counselor offering an integrative affirming space where healing and growth are possible. My approach is rooted in deep empathy and evidence-based practices. I also think it is import at to foster an awareness of how things ranging from structural inequities and systemic barriers, to everyday and relational stressors, can impact mental health, identity, safety and security. I utilize many different approaches and tailor-make a treatment plan for each individual person that caters to their needs, goals and objectives.

What you can expect from me

What You’ll Take Away:

What I want for every client is to leave session feeling heard, grounded, and gently empowered. Whether we’ve explored past wounds or navigated current challenges, my hope is that you’ll walk away with practical tools, deeper self-understanding, and a sense of hope. Together, we’ll honor your resilience and the courage it takes to face what’s hard. Healing isn’t always easy—but every time you show up, you’re choosing bravery and you are choosing YOU.

Sometimes starting a new journey can be hard and kind of scary but remember; you don’t have to do it alone—and you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin.
