Great to meet you!

I earned my Master’s in Social Work in 2018 and am currently based in Washington, DC, with roots in Massachusetts. My clinical work integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Radical Acceptance, and humanistic approaches, allowing therapy to be both structured and deeply reflective.

At the core of my work is the belief that, regardless of what brings someone to therapy, many people are struggling to make peace with their own humanity — the parts of themselves they’ve learned to manage, hide, or judge. I support clients in reconnecting with their existing strengths, gently challenging limiting self-narratives, and cultivating healthier patterns of thinking and behavior that feel sustainable, authentic, and aligned with who they are becoming.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in a person-in-environment approach, meaning I view individuals within the context of their relationships, early experiences, and the systems that have shaped how they learned to cope, connect, and perform. I primarily work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, including anxiety, depression, grief, and the lingering effects of childhood and relational trauma.

Much of the deeper work my clients engage in centers around perfectionism, attachment wounds, and the internal pressure to “hold it together” at the expense of their own needs. Together, we explore how these patterns developed, how they show up in present-day relationships and self-expectations, and how to build more flexible, compassionate ways of relating to oneself and others. My goal is to support clients in moving toward clarity, emotional steadiness, and a sense of wholeness that doesn’t require self-erasure
