Great to meet you!

As a young girl, my family experienced many hardships including my father passing away suddenly. I remember going to counseling and feeling so uncomfortable to open up and I feared being judged. I became a counselor to help others experiencing hardships and my goal is to offer a warm, comfortable environment free of judgment and bias. In my counseling practice, I am passionate about truly connecting with each client and family that I serve.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I enjoy working with children, teens, and young adults to overcome obstacles that are interfering in their daily lives and help them obtain a greater level of fulfillment. I have specialized training in Stress Reduction, Anxiety, Depression, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and Nutritional Therapy. I utilize evidence based therapeutic approaches including Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy.

What you can expect from our first session

I use an active approach to work collaboratively with each client and achieve real and lasting results. The passive style of therapy just doesn't work for me. I will ask questions and clarify to ensure I fully understand. With compassionate support and therapeutic strategies, we will work together to get you to a better place.
