Great to meet you!

I take a very client-centered approach to therapy, getting to know my clients, their strengths and their needs. I believe the client-therapist relationship is a sacred trust and I feel honored when a client entrusts me with their story.

I worked in the corporate business world before returning to school in Houston to get a Master of Social Work degree. The shift in careers felt like coming home and I have never regretted the move. I have worked as a therapist in foster care, in nursing homes, with home-bound seniors and in outpatient clinic settings. I opened my own practice two and a half years ago. I work with adults of all ages, but have specialized training working with older adults and those who are caregivers for an older adult.

My approach to therapy

I like therapy to be a collaborative effort with the client. I prefer to help the clients identify their strengths and find ways to leverage those strengths in order to live their best life.

What you can expect from me

I like to use the first session to get a feel for what brings the client to therapy. I prefer to let the client talk freely, rather than work from a checklist of questions.
