Great to meet you!

Hello there! As you step into a new year, this might be the moment to finally give yourself the support you’ve been putting off. Whether you’re stepping into therapy for the first time or returning to it with new goals, I’m here to help you build clarity, confidence, and sustainable change as you move into your next chapter.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Art Therapist (ATR) and I’ve spent years supporting clients across many settings—including inpatient, outpatient, and residential care—and I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals from early childhood through adulthood and that crazy thing we call parenthood.

I especially enjoy working with adults, college students, young adults and adolescents navigating life transitions, anxiety, depression, ADHD, or the feeling of being “stuck” even when they’re trying their best. I bring professional certifications including, ADHD-Certified Clinical Service Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and Executive Functioning, along with specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

My path started at Our Lady of the Lake University- San Antonio TX, where I earned my degree in Psychology, and took a meaningful detour to the desert in Santa Fe, NM, where I completed my Master of Arts in Counseling & Art Therapy at Southwestern College. That experience shaped my personal and professional beliefs that healing can be both practical and creative.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, neuro-affirming and focused on self-reflection and compassion. Together, we’ll identify unhelpful patterns using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques, highlight your strengths, and collaborate to build systems that support weaker executive skills—so daily life can feel more manageable and aligned with your goals.

I also offer the option of integrating expressive art directives into our work, if you feel open to it. And don’t worry—this is a completely nonjudgmental space. Remember, it’s about the process, not the product.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, low-pressure way. We’ll talk through your current challenges, what’s been feeling difficult or overwhelming, and what brought you to therapy now. I’ll also ask about important relationships, past experiences, values and what’s been helping—or not helping—so we can get a full picture of what you’re juggling.

We’ll explore your goals for therapy and from there, we’ll start building a plan that fits your personality and lifestyle.

Sometimes I offer light “therapy homework” or reflection prompts to think about between sessions. Nothing intense-just tools to help you stay connected to the process and deepen your insight throughout the week.

My goal is always to help you feel understood, supported, and equipped with practical steps as we move forward together.
