Great to meet you!

I am a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (since 2022) and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (since 2025) specializing in the care of children and adolescents. I work with clients experiencing ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma (including religious trauma), shame and guilt, executive functioning challenges, and related academic, social, and emotional concerns. I also support youth navigating self-harm thoughts, suicidal ideation, and relationship or school difficulties.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and integrative, considering both medical and psychological aspects of each child or adolescent’s experience. I use evidence-based practices, cognitive reframing techniques, and supportive psychotherapy while maintaining a strong focus on collaboration and shared decision-making.

I believe that each young person is the expert in their own life, and my role is to serve as a supportive clinical partner who helps identify strengths, resources, and effective treatment options.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily focused on evaluation, listening, and information gathering. I take time to understand the client’s concerns, history, and goals, while also building a safe and supportive environment for both the child/adolescent and their family when appropriate.

Together, we begin developing a treatment plan tailored to the client’s needs. Follow-up sessions are then guided by ongoing collaboration, symptom progression, and response to interventions.
