My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes from understanding ourselves and learning new ways to navigate life’s challenges. I strive to create a space where you feel understood while also being gently challenged to recognize patterns, explore what may be holding you back, and build a stronger relationship with yourself. I have a particular interest in women’s mental health and the perinatal experience, including the emotional, relational, and identity shifts that can occur during pregnancy, postpartum, and the transition to motherhood. I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, self-worth, and life transitions. Drawing from approaches such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, and ART, I tailor therapy to your unique experiences and goals. My style is authentic and down-to-earth, and I believe therapy should feel like a genuine human connection rather than a one-size-fits-all process.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is an active, practical process focused on helping you feel more empowered in your everyday life. Together, we’ll explore the experiences and patterns that have shaped you, strengthen your ability to navigate difficult emotions, and develop coping skills you can use beyond our sessions. Whether you’re working through past trauma, navigating anxiety or depression, adjusting to motherhood, or reconnecting with yourself during a season of change, our work will focus on helping you understand your needs and move toward meaningful change. I’ll meet you with compassion while also helping you identify opportunities for growth, build resilience, and develop a healthier relationship with yourself and others. My goal is to help you feel more confident in who you are and better equipped to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and self-trust.
